Regional Seminar on Intended Nationally Determined Contributions INDCs during the Mediterranean Climate Week

This event, organised by the ClimaSouth, occurred in the framework of the Mediterranean Climate Week that brought together, from 4 to 7 May, several climate change related events (click here for more information).The seminar was intended for government officials in charge of or involved in preparing their INDC mainly based on GHGemissions reduction through LEDS and NAMAs. Main objectives was:

To share experiences in developing INDCs, and to identify solutions to challenges that countries are facing,
To address issues related to the underlying technical basis required to prepare robust, realistic and achievable INDCs,
To identify support needs required to reach domestic agreement on INDCs and follow up actions and
To enhance regional and international collaboration through information and experience sharing and networking.

The programme of this one day seminar was structured in order to increases regional and global cooperation on INDCs, through information and experience sharing on approaches used by the participating countries to prepare their intended contributions. Please find here below the exposed presentations
