ClimaSouth Regional Seminar on Low Emission Development Strategy (LEDS)

The two-day workshop is meant to give to ClimaSouth’s representative countries a comprehensive training on LEDS and how to proceed to their development. 

The workshop’s aim is to show how low emission development path can achieve sustainable development and  opportunities for the national economies. 

It is  also to show the role of policy in achieving LED goals and the process for LED policy making: defining a LED vision, developing a LED strategy and implementing LED action.

The LEDS workshop purpose is to  increases knowledge and regional cooperation  on LEDS, through joint training and the sharing of experiences and case studies, and it is carried out in synergy with regional and international initiatives such as Global Partnership on LEDS.
