Event: Lebanon: Climate finance training

Location: Beirut, Lebanon

The training will be carried on the basis of the ClimaSouth E -Handbook N.8, following the methodological approach outlined in the document on climate finance attached below.

The first day of the training will provide an overview of the content of the handbook and of the diversity and specificity of funds and donors available.

Days 2 and 3 will be devoted to “write-shops” with concrete applications on three projects selected by the participant countries, resulting in improved project proposals at the end of the write-shops. ClimaSouth will continue to “coach” the preparation of the projects selected and support establishing a link between the project and interested fanciers/donors.
